How long are the counseling sessions?
Each individual, couples or family session typically lasts 45 to 50 minutes. Group sessions usually last 90 minutes.
How much does counseling cost?
Individual, couples or family sessions are $70.00. Group sessions are $20.00 per person per session or 80.00 per month .
Will what I share be kept confidential?
All of your conversations are completely confidential (except where mandated by law as in the cases of abuse or neglect).
What kind of training does Tom Shelder have?
Tom is a Michigan licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. He has received training in a number of specialized areas. See BIO page
Do you accept insurance?
Some insurances are accepted. Where "out of network" insurances are involved, the client may submit to their own insurance. Payment is due at the time of the counseling session.
Is phone counseling available?
Phone counseling is available and is encouraged, especially for sexual addiction issue and after the initial consultation.
Phone counseling appointments are made and paid for in advance through "PAYPAL" or check.
